So I decided to give the engine a quick check and notice this bottle was quite low. However I am nothing more than useless with cars. Can someone tell me what it is and what I need to top up to the fill line please.

Yes, coolant reservoir, but must be filled with G12/G13 coolant (not plain water), and then, don’t exceed the max fill line to allow for expansion.
