Grit stuck in window frame

I’m having an issue with my drivers window. There seems to be some tiny grit lodged in the frame, so every time the window goes up or down I hear the god awful scraping noise and I have scratches all over the window. I’ve tried cleaning the insides where the window drops with a damp cloth but this isn’t doing anything. Is there something I should be doing to clean this regularly to prevent it from happening/getting worse? I’ve even lodged the nozzle of the hoover down there to suck up any debris to no avail. Any advice would be great.

Not heard off third problem before but have you considered using an airline in order to dislodge it rather than trying to such it past the seals with the window fully down.
