Vinyl Sunstrip or Tinted Sunstrip?
Hey everyone,
I’ve just had my lights on my Rocco tinted and am very happy with the results. Thinking about getting a Sunstrip on the windscreen. I’d really appreciate people’s opinions and also, would you have a Black Vinyl strip or do you think Tinted strip is better?

One with you and your missus name on it!

And it will fail the MOT if the wipers cross it

Definetly vinyl , had a gloss black one on mine until the windscreen cracked and had to be replaced , not only did it look great but it blocks the sun out a lot more than you would expect.
Got a friend in the paint protection film industry who will be wrapping my spoiler, roof, mirrors and doing a sunstrip all in gloss black shortly [emoji106]

Cheers everyone so far who has replied and given their opinion. The guy who is doing it for me knows exactly how far down the windscreen the sunstrip can go before it’s illegal and a MOT failure. He has shown me the mark on the windscreen.
I’m definitely going ahead with it. I personally don’t think it looks chavvy at all, furry dice is another thing though lol.
Lewis your car looks amazing and I love the sunstrip. Cheers for sending me pics

majority of people say "no sunstrip at all" yet you now say your definitely going ahead with it, seems like a pointless poll/thread to me!

Standard forum mentality isn’t it, ask for advice, get advice, ignore said advice, 3 months later agree with said advice.

Disappointing when some people have to leave bitchy negative comments - totally unnecessary. We all have the right to change our minds. If you think my posting is pointless, just jog on to another topic!!

Well, all I am saying is it's threads like this are clogging up the forum unnecessarily. If you want to do somthing to your car, do it. Dont turn to a bunch of strangers on the internet seeking their approval. At the end of the day it's your car and weather people like it or not it's your choice. So when you came here asking for peoples opinion i submitted to the poll and gave my opinion. Whatever choice you make I hope YOU are happy with it.Mk3GTS wrote:Disappointing when some people have to leave bitchy negative comments - totally unnecessary.
