Vents stink!
My vents smell like arse unless i have a/c on for any temperature
I've used the aircon cleaner from Halfords previously however this doesn't really get rid of the smell fully it just makes it smell better for a short period.
The smell is really bad if its cold coming through the dash vent or front facing, feet not so bad.
If i have the a/c turned on it doesnt smell regardless of temp and vent
Any ideas?

Re: Vents stink!
Try changing the cabin filter.
Tbe smell is normally down to bacteria. Try running your heating at max temp for 5 mins and then freezing cold to try and kill it.

You can also put an ozon generator in the car for a couple of hours with A-C running and recirculation on for a couple of hours.

I had a similar problem on my first Scirocco which turned out to be stale water in the washer bottle.

Yes, I can confirm that. Ozone is a very powerful antibiotic, anti fungal, kills virus and cancer cells. Not everyone know about it. Sure it can be used to clean air vents and everything inaccessible. Just don't inhale it, never, ever! It's very toxic for lungs membrane and can damage it permanently. The administration has to be by intravenous way, mixing blood with ozone. Good tip Roy!Roy_01 wrote:You can also put an ozon generator in the car for a couple of hours with A-C running and recirculation on for a couple of hours.

Yes you will notice it when inhaling it, not very plesant:)
After using it you have to air the car for several hours, the times are written down in the manual.
But still the car will smell to ozon for 1 or 2 months after using it.
I used it when someone had pucked in my car. It works very well.
It even dissolves dead tissue/fat to water and CO2.
I could also see watery spots on the leather arm rest on the door panels were i rest my elbow on it.
You can just hire them at rental shops.

Yes my friend, totally true. I already used olive oil with ozone on my skin, works better than anything else for psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis, etc. It's impressive how only three atoms of oxygen make such a powerful combination. Makes me happy to share this type of knowledge with someone that understands me completely, it is very rare. I don't know if you are a doctor to know this kind of elements and its benefits, but I'm amazed.Roy_01 wrote:Yes you will notice it when inhaling it, not very plesant:)

I already made an experiment on lab with candida albicans and ozone. The results are astonishing.

That's good to hear it works well for your treatment.
From what i know its used for water treatment and it has also been used in some sports to improve the blood quality as a kind of doping.
But for regular treatment it has been discussed a lot when you search the news.
My opinion is that it really works and useable in low concentration.
If it works in the ozon layer in the atmosphere why not on a human body.
