been a busy week, first off dyno run on revised Stage 1 map for later K04 cars before going Stage 2
gloss black diffuser
3" race system from Milltek with Ed35 tips for the time being, real quality feel to this and the spring clips for retaining the tips are a work of art in how they are engineered to cope with expansion, i have 2 iddy rear silencers as without its a bit too full on
chassis has also received some attention given whacking on a set of lowering springs doesn't make it a fine handler, so this time round some Bilstein B16s with 2 way damping, real quality kit and so easy to adjust, ride is firmer but damping is superb on these so car is way more comfortable than standard depot a healthily drop, a set of ARBs were also put on
last mod for now are a new set of engine mounts, gone for Revo this time as wanted something between THS and Vibratechnics, really well engineered but i was a bit nervous on trying this out, no worries just a little intrusion but car feels more alive
only other plans this year are brakes, intake and a spare set of rims, car will remain stage 2 as it feels really well balanced, and in someways feels like a 80s/90s hot hatch and reminds me a bit of my company 309 GTI Goodwood

Re: Revo Stage 2 Rising Blue 2.0tsi & Edition 35 Stage 2
thought it was about time i gave a bit of an update on the 35
ordered a set of 35 dice from Germany
a few pics of the car at BVF last year, poignant as this was the last time I met RW1 with his Mk2 Scirocco and was the last BVF show
suspension replaced so running Bilstein B16 PS10s and Eibach ARBs set up by KPM Racing in Silverstone to just how i like it
car had its first service so now time to get modding again
revo intake installed with smoothed TTS engine cover, now makes some great noises and as if Darth is in the glovebox, car is really responsive with this on
attention now being turned to front brakes given i have a set of S3 rears ready to go on
the stock watkins glen wheels are a nightmare for clearing BBK even needing spacers on the APs, been toying with some lightweight wheels and wanted a change from TDs and decided to go for the TSW Nurburgring RFs in 18x8 in matt gunmetal running Yokahama Advan Sport V103s as a change from the forum norm
also tts cover was looking naked so a temp fix applied
thanks for looking

Re: Scirocco 2.0tsi | GTI Ed35 | Polo Blue GT | Ed35 Goes Ho
Decided at a couple of days notice to take a Road Trip to Germany with just the car, the tom tom and me, plan was:
- Harwich to Hook of Holland on Ferry
- Holland to Wolfsburg
- Visit Autostadt and VW Museum
- Wolsburg to Nurburgring
- Nurburgring to Calais via spa
Plan for the car was always to be set up for fast road use and capable of some track day action and car was faultless, coped with jams in Belgium, 150+ on the autobahn and the ring, a few pics of the car on its travels
Outside Autostadt
Wolfsburg Factory in the distance
Nurburgring
Nurburgring Hotel Car Park

How easy was it to remove the rear diffuser?
