Noob question, R line badge
Hi I'm looking to buy a used scirocco r line, I noticed some have a badge on the front grill while others don't. What is the reason for this? is it an optional extra?

Not sure, but the fellow at the dealership did say removing the 'R' badge was a bit of a fiddle when I enquired about the deletion.

Re: Noob question, R line badge
There is a no cost "Badge Deletion" option from the factory on all models apart from the "R". I opted for this option on my car because it made the rear cleaner. Possible for the "R-Line" model if you.opt for the "Badge Deletion" option it also removes the " R-Line" Badge from the front grill. If you check the rear of the cars without the grill badge to see if the rear badges are also missing then that might just explain it.
Hardly a deal breaker I would have thought...

I should clarify, this was on a second hand purchase, rather than a brand new order when the dealer told me that.
