yeah, the tire pressure button is now in the glovebox, and not under the radio like it used to be.

Spiney, can see the chrome pipes as standard across the range, but not the electric adjusting seat. It also appears that you can't spec the multifunction steering wheel on the standard roc (unless you're buying phone prep), or the highline computer (unless you buy the phone prepped multifunction steering wheel, and it will come with).

Those brochure/web pages have been known to be wrong from time to time.

Hi Maisbitt,

Leccy drivers seat still comes up for me (GT spec only), still, I'm sure you're right and it'll just turn out to be errors on the page. Can't help smiling at the prospect of something for nothing though!

I specced a multi-function steering wheel on a 1.4 TSI back March - the hi-line computer then comes with it as part of the deal (I hope). Don't know if things have changed since then.

Don't trust the brochures or configurator, they both said the Dynaudio system was 600w for the best part of six months. I emailed Dynaudio direct who told me that it wasn't. If possible check the info somewhere else to avoid dissapointment.

So whats the correct output then? Are you sure VW don't quote peak output rather than RMS which is generaly much lower?

The Scirocco / Golf / Tiguan get 8 speakers and 300w, the Eos / Passat / Touareg get 10 Speakers and 600 watts and the Phaeton gets 10 speakers and 1000w. The Scirocco brochure / configurator listed the Eos setup as being fitted to the Scirocco but from all the pictures on the Scirocco interior i could only see two speakers in each of the doors unlike the Eos which has three in the front door accomodating a seperate mid range. I have to say the Scirocco setup is very good IMO, but i would have preferred the EOS setup but the Scirocco doors just don't have the package space.

Going back to the original question about the 2010 model changes.

Does anybody know why VW UK haven't updated their website to include the new 2010 model changes? There are no pics of the new steering wheel, instrument panel or revised highline computer for example...

Even when you configure the car the new 2010 updates don't show. A little worrying if you ask me.

Does this mean these 2010 model changes aren't happening in the UK yet? I'd quite like to know because my Scirocco is on order and I'd like all the new mods.

Hi Gary

Many people in the UK on this forum have received their Sciroccos with the 2010 changes, therefore you definitely will

Don't worry too much about the configurator

On the French site The PDF brochure & price list now show the 2010 model, however the web page still shows the 2009 interior, the configurator has been "under maintenece" for about 2 months and to top it all off the "gallery" shows a Scirocco exterior but the interior pictures are of a Passat CC !!!!

Whatever :fall:

iAmbu & Nobby

Thanks for your help and reassurance. I feel a lot better now I've seen (the French pdf brochure) and people in the Delivery room showing off their cars with the new 2010 model features.

Cheers guys.

Jim....

Loads of people have.... I got mine 3 weeks ago.

Basically anyone waiting for a car will be getting a 2010 model now.

Im well chuffed with mine.... steering wheel and dials much nicer. The white MFD is also a big improvement and has a few new things. For example mine came with option to show you your oil temp etc.

I am lucky enough to have the new model - just one question, I ordered winter pack with leather but the new spec seems to include xenons for the same price. How can I tell if I have xenon lights - I certainly have the winter pack .... sorry if its a dull question but it doesn't seem obvious to me (my excuse is being a woman driver!)
