Looking for the right Scirocco

Hello all!

Ive decided i want to buy a Scirocco so thought I'd join the forums
I just havent made my mind up on which model to go for yet and was looking for some help. The GTS or R model!

I was looking on the VW website and both look great from the photo's but im not sure on the wheels on the R and not sure if I like the stripe through the middle of the GTS.
Can you get/order the GTS without that big stripe down the middle of it? And can you order R's with different wheels, wheels like the ones you get on the GTS? Also not sure on colours, is there much different between the Urano Grey and Indium Grey?

Any help or advice would be cool guys, cheers

With the GTS or the R, I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed!

I think you can order the GTS without the stripe, and you could probably put in a request with the dealership for different wheels on the R - though, personally, I think they look great! I have the R in indium grey. Although I've not seen it alongside the urano grey, I would guess the urano looks flatter and duller, as the indium is metallic and so has a slight sparkle to it. A good idea would be to browse the 'Showroom' section on here and see what colours you like the look of.

I agree with RoccoTom, the alloys on the R look great IMO.

Personally, I prefer the Turbines. but then it's all personal!

Yeah really not a fan of the R wheels. Or the GTS stripes either haha

I've got a 1.4 TSI and have the Interlagos alloys which I really like. I might get an R model around this time next year and think the Cadiz alloys really suit it. I guess it's all subjective!
