Interior to engine compartment
Hello brothers,
I need to pass a cable from the front to the head unit. Is there any opening where the cable can pass through?
If there is any DIY tutorial I appreciate...
Cheers

Thank you for your answer my friend. That foam it's under the passenger seat or on footwell?

Re: Interior to engine compartment
If you have DSG, there is a rubber bung that is where the clutch pedal would enter the cabin - I used that to pass power through to my amp. I can find you a pic if you need it.

Easiest way is use bonnet release wire route..

Re: Interior to engine compartment
I asked this same question for my bi-xenon wiring, I used the one where the clutch pedal should be, may have to remove the plastic cover above the footwell as shown. Circle in red is a foam piece that can be just pushed out, though should be left in place to retain water proofing, just poke the wire through at the side.

I would upload a pic showing exactly that ^^^^^^
you can see the grommet from the engine side if you look at the firewall behind the engine....
