The rear end was delivered today. Happy is an extreme understatement!!!!! It is perfect. The sender also sent me all the brackets and even arch linings too. Woohoo!!

I want to know the correct wiring and VCDS settings for the taillight because a friend of mine has it but he doesn't succeed yet to setup it well.

On another note, test fitting and wiring up the facelift LED Rear lights went well last night. I made a custom harness that plugs into the pre facelift connector and in theory converts it to the facelift plug:

UPDATE. Yesterday I fitted the facelift rear end. Everything went okay, couple of technical issues with the lights but they seem to be working now!

Here is the finished article, I will upload some more progress pics and everything soon - so many of you have asked me what parts are required for the facelift and how to code the lights etc so I'll do a write up asap!

Sososo happy with it. Especially because it was a bargain of the century and only cost me £350 (I've actually sold my pre facelift rear end for more!) so can't complain.

Looks amazing now!!

Can you tell us the connections for the facelift? I'm also interested in that. Well, not for now since i changed all my lights for LED's. My Rocco is FULL LED. :) Looks amazing. But the facelift rear lights are on another level, future upgrade for sure.

I am still meaning to do a write up, will put one up as soon as possible dude - for now, here is the pre facelift to facelift pin conversion which I followed:

1 > 3
2 > 7
3 > 8
4 > 5
5 > 4
6 > 6

You can see in some of the pics below how that results out. I just need to find someone with vcp to do some coding for me, but in theory all of the lights work with that set up :)

I met up with a few of the rocco' guys at the weekend, easyrider worked his magic with his camera as always. Here are some pics from Saturday. You can see in the last pic why I need to code the rear lights. The rear fog light is on and the brake lights are on faintly all of the time, although they illuminate correctly when I brake so not a big issue...

The rear end conversion seems to have gone down really well. Loads of compliments from people, including Car Audio Security, Air Lift Performance and Rotiform all sharing the car on their social pages - winner!

The colour match isn't perfect, which means i'm either going to have to get it resprayed... or, because my front end is due a respray when I fit the facelift bumper, for the same price i'm thinking of a full wrap... watch this space :clap:

Thanks guys! Facelift xenons will happen soon, once I find a set for a reasonable price!

On a side note, this week I became a home owner! My girlfriend and I made an offer on a house which was accepted, which means car parts are going to need to be put on the back burner for a while. :(

However, these arrived in the post today! I am sososo impressed with the quality, fully hand made carbon interior trims...
