Just ordered a white one!

Just ordered a Candy White 170 TDI. Always wanted a white car, always wanted a hot hatch that I could insure for less cash than the average defence budget of a medium sized country, not possible at 17......so.....I'm now 38 and I think this constitutes a mid life crisis. Bring it on :D

Good stuff....! the 170 TDI will be superb..I test drove the TT 170 TDI (which i guess would be similar drive) before opting for the 2.0 GT TSI. I would have opted for the 170 TDI had it been available when i placed the order late March/early April.. :shrug: Mines a company car so would have been the perfect balance between cost and performance...plus the 19inch wheels would have looked the business.. :clap:

Funny isn't it? I'm also 38, ordered a Candy White 170 TDI manual 4 weeks ago. Everyone's telling me it's a mid-life crisis, and I'm not denying it!

In my case I had an XR2 when I was 20 - I loved that car, gonna love having a hot hatch again after all these years. I am calling it a coupe though.

I wonder what the demographics of Scirocco owners are based on engine, and colour?

I feel like I am in the twilight zone, I a, 37 and ordered a 170ps TDi 3 weeks ago in rising blue. spooky
