Oil change and bought the td pro race 1.3's in matte black. At least I hope they will be matte black as there was only a gloss black picture on the website... I guess I'll soon find out!

Cheers mate.
I've seen them for £600, but I managed to get it second-hand for half that.
Had a few chips and scuffs in the lacquer over the carbon fibre which I repaired before getting it wrapped.

Installed the powerflex antilift kit on my R. Makes so much difference to traction. Only downside so far is the steering is abit heavier at lower speeds.

A race chip....? Correct me if i'm wrong, but if you have remap why would you want to do this (unless I am thinking of something else)

But thats the purpose of a remap, unlikely you would get an benefit from that aswell as a remap. Better putting your money into mods that work with the map to improve power

Think about it a remap got me about extra 35/40bhp
If I get a race chip it will boost it more about another 30bhp
Already got full induction kit on it aswell
Going to get dpf removed maybe next month when I'm paid

The chip wont change anything as the map already made the gains you'd expect to get from the chip. It would be a waste, if anything it could affect the performance

Decided to treat myself and the Roc to a set of embroidered front mats, VW price £70 but managed to get them for £51 from a very friendly and helpful guy at TPS (result). That'll be the second treat in the last few months after another coil pack failed last year (2nd one in a 4 month period) so replaced the other 2, so that's all 4 done now. Have to say I felt an immediate difference in performance so well worth doing imho.
