Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
Today I gave my mats a good cleaning, the mats were absolutely filthy. Decided to use that that " Vanish Shake and Clean" and it does an extremely good job, after vaccing the mats looked almost new again.
Thats one cleaning product I shall be keeping in my detailing product bucket.

1 .Had to change my battery (72Ah from a 61Ah) and took opportunity to install the plastic battery box, engine bay looks cleaner and so much better, found it an easy mod.
2. Swapped mirror caps to black, another easy mod thanks to Uklee ford his thread on the subject cheers Lee.
going to Boro tomorrow so no work Sunday

Installed the seat heater mats in both front seats with the wiring looms.
Took about 6 hours hell of a job to take the seats and clothing apart but very satisfying.
Now the next step to get a warm ass is to do the wiring in the car.
Im going to use the golf 6 seat heater wiring loom from kufatec.

Fitted a new carbon fibre bonnet (xmas present to myself), then had it wrapped to match.
Can really hear the turbo now with the vents!

Cheeky rear shot as well

Encoded XDS. Damn, should have done it earlier! There is a massive difference (traction in corners).

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
Installed the seat heating harness in the car this morning. Driver seat connector is finished, bcm, climatronic and ground wires connected. Only things to do is connect the passenger seat and 12v to fuse 37.

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
I used a golf VI seat heating harness from kufatec. The loom to the passenger seat is a little short so have to extend it 20-30cm but only 3 wires so not that difficult. See this topic:
