Whilst doing an oil change today on my 11' 2.0TDI I went to change the oil filter for a bosch one that was purchased online however the old and new filters have a different fittings on the end. The original has a longer end with 2 o-rings as opposed to the new which is shorter with only 1. Have they supplied the wrong one or will it still do the job?

Wrong one ... there are two types available. 
VW Scirocco GT 170 in shadow blue metallic with vienna leather, cruise control, parking radar, nav, bluetooth and dynaudio sound system. Remapped and shortshift fitted.
