Well I just wanted to make a topic on here where people can answear these questions and see which person has gone the fastest good luck:
How much your car has travelled and what is the fastest you have gone with it?
I just reached 1022Km (distance) and well for speed i dunno if its fast enough, but i took it up to 180km/h while i was racing with my friend. He had a bmw 2005 330 coupe. And yes I WON
Lets see who can beat the 180km/h mark and go.........
112mph in a car that is just about bedded in, with harsh acceleration to get there - nice one! So much for a gentle run in. Public road too, no doubt?
2013 - Tornado Red MK7 Golf GTD on order
2011-2013 - Rising Blue 170GT
2009-2011 - Pewter Roc 140GT
2007-2009 - Tornado Red Golf 170TDI GT
2005-2007 - Black Pearl Golf 140TDI GT
2003-2005 - Black Pearl Polo 1.9TDI
I have driven at 240kmph - 149mph on public roads, but then again I do have the luxury of having access to unrestricted sections of autobahn on my door step.
It was the reading of my sat-nav which is far more accurate that the clock which always reads greater than the actual speed.
As for racing, never done it never and never will. I just can't see the point, I leave that for the more immature road users.
If I do need an additional adrenalin rush when behind the wheel I pop down for a few laps of the Nürburgring were the top speed of your car irrelevent.
I've done 9500km and the fastest i've gone is 205 km/h... according to my garmin nuvi, on that particular occasion the spedometer was showing 220 km/h. I guess it's a little of...
I have a video on here somewhere of hitting 154mph on an airstrip, although that was the speed on the dash. SatNav was reading 149 I think. I seem to remember a couple of people getting to the 250km/h limiter.

To be honest AL1874 racing isnt for immature people just good drivers . BTW we raced at 2 am so no one is on the road and we wont have to worry about other people. Also one factor that angers me here in my country is that we do not have racing tracks so its hard to race unless its 1 am (till 5 am) on a highway.
now modified with dump valve, boost gauge in custom made vent, "gt" steering wheel badge, carbon fibre badges, rs4 wheels, lowered 35mm, private plate S18OCO, custom de-cat and cat back exhaust with quad tips, air filter behind fog lamp heat wrapped, customised front bumper grills painted gloss black, customised rear bumper smoothed and lower spoiler painted gloss black, mouldings and mirrors sprayed in gloss black, gloss black roof and rear spoiler, colour coded dash trims, door trims, centre console trims and rear seat trims, led fog light bulbs, s3 intercooler, audi a4 "S line" gear knob, newspeed hi-flow throttle body pipe, newspeed hi-flow turbo pipe, uprated dog mount bush, front to back and side to side quickshift, 20mm front spacers
hit the magic 155, on a airstrip obviously. and just was going to say, that theres no point in boasting about speeding on public roads, just makes you seem like an idiot driving at them speeds on a public road (not saying i have never speeded before as im sure we all have at some point) just makes it seem like this website is full of chavs
I agree with ryan... Some people here in Italy are really careless during rush hour, speeding in emergency lanes and all I only try faster speeds on the highway between Milano and Torino. They just laid fresh tarmac and there aren't a lot of cars. But I only hit the 200 km/h and then decelerated... You can get in a lot of trouble here if they catch you, for 50 km/h over the limit they can take your actual car for a month by law
I agree Ryan but when you're going down a quiet stretch of familiar motorway at 2am and there is nothing on the road, it's your chance to see what the car will do. Wouldn't advocate it regularly but i'd also hate to own a car i've never driven flat out......

Deff public road love doin in betweens
Your right, how a miss of me not to realise you are obviously the best driver on the planet and all other road users should bow to your superior driving skills and pull aside as a mark of respect.
The mark of a true fandango in my book, I don't and never describe myself as a good driver, I prefer to use the term safe driver.
I drive the Nürburgring on a regular basis I would hazard a guess that I would get round in a respectable time, were as you would be more than likely looking at the business end of armco half way round your first lap after confusing your aspirations with your abilities.

Stick to your playstation for this crap.
Agree!!! I push my car but I never go beyound mine or the cars limits! YOU should take the approach that you are always learning with every mile under your belt! I think you have to be very wary of road conditions, I'm the first to put my hand up and say that I have made some stupid moves but i have learnt from them over the years. I also have been fortunate enough to have owned some very powerful machinery and I believe after my experience of performance AWD and FR powered cars I can handle a FF with a degree of finesse, finding thye limits is something best left for a trackday though, but pushing on is acceptable under the right conditions.
mine has seen 155 on an airfield in Suffolk and it was awful, very floaty, doubt I'll ever take it up to that again seemed ok to 140 ish
Car is now Sold!!!!! BMW 7 Series for now as nice and big but holding out for something a little special as my toy
