hey guys, im from the spanish forum. we have just seen pictures of one of our users new scirocco my2010, and to everyones surprise, it has no ashtray or even a cover. its just ugly, but it does have a 12v adapter. and the tire preassure button is nowhere to be found. i think we have to ask for the smoker pack, but its free. so unless you say you want an ashtray with the cover, youll get this thing.

Both smoking package and tyre pressure control are optional. Maybe the guy didnt want them. Is it a 2010 model? Put some more pictures of the interior to see!!

heres the other MY2010 from our scirocco forum here in spain.
http://www.club-scirocco.es/foro/viewto ... &start=525

and by the way this is IMPORTANT: the sciroccos we recieved here in spain have production flaws! both of them are missing the "tire preassure" button, which is suposed to come as standard here in spain. so, since its missing that thing, the little yellow tire pressure light in the speedometer cant be turned off. the light in one of our my2010s has turned on, and the owner had to send it in so they can fix it. maybe this is why we recieved them so early here in spain.

What speed does it display then? Is this the "Speed Limiter setting"? Does "Velocidad" not mean speed?

It does show speed - although mine seems a little different to that (has a thin strip showing the speed at the bottom of the screen rather than in the middle iirc) and shows kmh at the mo. Will change it when I get time this wkend!!

Think it just makes a noise when you exceed the speed you set (stuck mine on 85 for safety). My Spanish is non existant but that seems to fit in with one of the pics!

Now here's a thing.....

Just looked at the VW Scirocco configurator and checked the standard spec (based on choosing a GT TD140 manual as that's what I've ordered). They seem to have added twin chrome exhaust pipes to the spec and electrically adjustable drivers seat!

Does anyone think this is just a mistake or is this going to be added to MY2010?

Interesting......

I can see the chrome tail pipes seem to have been added, but not the electric driver's seat
