Black Scirocco R
Finished steps:
► Sport downpipe and exhaust from DTH
► lowering springs from H&R (still not really happy)
► Shiny rims
► Software tuning
► VWR Intake
To do list:
► Cleaning the rear windshield wipers
► Black rear VW badge
► Spacers (front: ~0.5cm / back: ~1cm)
Hello everyone,
I just bought my VW Scirocco R last year in august. It was a huge upgrade for me, because I drove a 1.4l Fiat Punto with 95HP.
Shiny Scirocco R after washing
Before January I decided to upgrade my car with an exhaust. But I didn't know what to buy and listened to some videos on youtube. So in January I decided to buy an exhaust from DTH. Because of the high request at DTH I had to wait about almost 4 months.
Meanwhile I tried to recolor my VW badge. It doesn't look that bad in my opinion
I was so happy before 2 weeks because I finally received my exhaust
I also bought some brand new rims!
Old rims:
New rims:
The very next step is to lower the car, it's pretty high right now almost like a tractor

Very nice car. Would benefit hugely aesthetically from lowering (H&R springs are great quality, good ride and much cheaper than coilovers) if where you live won't cause you too many problems being lower. Looking good so far though!

Re: Black Scirocco R
Man I already installed H&R springs, but my car is still high AF First I also installed the Bilstein B14 coilovers, but that one was so hard, I even needed a helmet to drive my car. And now I installed the H&R springs which are even lower than the coiloverkieran_67 wrote:Very nice car. Pretty nice though Usally lowering springs cost in germany like 200€ and if you want them in switzerland you have to pay arround 800€, that's so crazy over here.Firstcarscirocco wrote:Thanks mate, I think they go lower than h&r. Got them off german ebay for approx 140 euro:)
