Alex's 2.0 TSi Roc

Post by alex_read »

Hi all,

This is my first post and have recently bought my Shadow Blue Rocco, safe to say I am in love with it! I have carried out a few subtle mods already... Eibach Pro kit springs, pressed plates, de-badged the rear and fitted LED number plate bulbs.

Any advise/tips you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Alex

Were the above pics before or after you fitted the Eibach springs? I also have the GT 2.0 TSi (manual) and looking to lower.

Mods I'd recommend...if you want more power then get a remap. I went for a Revo Stage 1 and it made a huge difference! If you go for that, you'll want to upgrade your brakes too.

Great mods! How's the ride on the Eibach springs?

Yeah the pictures were with the springs COOkie, however I had only had them fitted and they have settled down a bit more now. The ride is good! Didn't want to go to low because of the roads around me so the 25mm front and 20mm rear was perfect for me

Fitted 12mm Eibach spacers today, rears are pretty much flush and fronts sit slightly inboard but i'm happy with the results!

Did you need longer wheel bolts for the spacers? Where did you get the plates from?
