Hi Guys, just bought myself a 60 plate 2.0 tsi, it is one lady owner, 60k miles, i have never known so much documentation to be kept with a car right down to the paperwork given to the lady from when she collected it new.
the car is lovely and is just what i wanted except for one little niggle,
The DCC Doesn't appear to be working as it should, I've read a few things on here saying that if there is an issue with it then the button will be flashing to let you know that the system isn't working properly, but mine is just stuck in comfort, the light is illuminated but i can't get it to change to normal or sport, any help would be greatly appreciated,

Does the button move ok?
If so then you need to run a VCDS scan on the controller... if you ask nicely someone will offer to do this for you locally.

Yes button moves no problem, just doesn't do anything. Will get my auto electtrician to look next time he is out.

mine had this problem,it was down to a faulty sensor which is apparently quite a common problem and a really simple fix. i just dropped mine off at VW and it was fixed in an hour.

Your best bet would be to get someone to run a scan on the car to see if any fault codes logged. I had a suspension level sensor go recently and it would have been very expensive to start replacing the sensors on a hunch as they're £130 each from TPS and there are 3 of them.
If you do find out it's a level sensor causing the problem they are really easy to change over, just two easily accessible bolts (10mm socket/spanner, tighten to 5Nm) & and an electrical connector, so no need to pay extortionate labour rates.
