Hi guys, I used to own a Scirocco and am looking at buying a R this time around. Ive seen one listed below and wanted to get your opinions on it generally and price wise. Cheers.

They've had that car for sale for a good many months, I reckon getting on for a year. They first put it up for £29,000'ish which gives a clue how long they've had it. That'd suggest that there's either something wrong with the car or with the dealer? They changed all the pictures a few weeks back but I'm convinced it's the same car.

Interesting... the number plate is obv hidden so cant hpi check. no idea why they hide the plate?????

Wouldn't get me spending that sort of $$$ at an unfranchised/unofficial dealer. Anything over 15k and I only tend to consider main dealers. Sure you pay a premium on the price of the car but i'd rather that than get ripped off in any number of ways.

Well I guess the low mileage and options should equal a much more expensive car, I specced one in the same way and it was coming out at £38k... I guess it's too good to be true. Probably a cat D write off but not declared? I'm in no rush so I'll wait for something else, but need to have them reccaro seats!
