Picked up my new baby Rocco on Friday & asked at the VW Dealership about the cable - they gave it to me for free. So your local VW garage should be able to get one...

I'd read that for every Scirocco ordered the dealer gets one iPod cable. So it is VWs intention that they supply you with one.

I too picked up my Scirocco last Friday and thanks to this Forum I went prepared and looked straight away to see if the I-Pod cable was there. Naturally it wasn't so I asked for one and the Salesman obliged with no hasel.
