My 2016 Scirocco R
After three very happy years, it's a sad farewell to 'Woody'...
...and a warm welcome to my brand new indium grey Scirocco R!
I've had him for four days now, and I absolutely love it!

Some snaps from a recent cruise through the Scottish Highlands, about an hour west of Inverness. What a stunning part of the country - but whenever I tried to photograph the scenery, the car somehow always got in the way...

Amazing looking car! Is there a big difference power wise when driving the old and new car? Obv there's a lot more power but does it put it all down well?
Nice colour choice as well. Those exhausts are definitely noticeable

Re: My 2016 Scirocco R
Thanks for the compliment, Andy. I went from a 2013 2.0 TSI to the 2016 R, and I wouldn't say there's any massive difference in terms of power. In real terms, 280PS doesn't feel drastically different from 210PS, unless you're higher up in the rev range - but as I've only covered 2,000 miles, I've just been gently 'running in' the engine so far, so I can't really answer your question yet!Andy's-TSI wrote:Amazing looking car! Re: My 2016 Scirocco R
Excellent car congratulations!
Hi, i am Fabio and i am from Portugal, at the moment i have a big problem and i hope that you can help me. So, my scirocco is a 1.4 TSI SPORT and I made the update to facelift R 2015, But now one of the direction indicator leds gained water in and merged, so because of that is not working. Do you think that you can get me a chassis´s number of a R facelift for me to order the part in Vw? Just because here VW asked me for a chassis number and i do not have any. I hope you can help me.
Kind regards,
Fabio
