Weird.. Mine's stay on on every position of lightswitch. They are wired to the wire which went to old drl bulb. :)

Cant find link for these wheels.. I remember that they were 8.5" and 9.5" x 19". Mercedes replica wheels.

Hi pal I've a got a GT170 and wanting to upgrade the front to an R bumper like yourself as it looks sooooo much nicer however I'm unsure on a few bits. Firstly Was it just a one for one swap or was there extra work that needed doing for it to fit? And Also I'm assuming the standard drl's won't fit either?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi mate

Just had a read through your build and it looks awesome, keep it up!

Just a quick one regarding the mk7 steering. Do the buttons work, and how easy are they to code etc for them to work?

Thanks

Sorry, haven't seen your message. Those doesnt work and it's pain in the ass to get working.

But i finally have fully working headlights <3 Turning with steering wheel, cornering light works, adjust in height... I couldn't do it without help. If you are reading this thank you so much man.

Anyway to the pictures.. Polished lips to this summer. Im going to lower the front bit more, do some wrapping and consecrate to the mk1 rocco.

Absolutely stunning!
You say your headlights are now fully working - how did you do it? Please, I need a detailed description.. How did you solve the issue with the indicators? I mean you are basically using the old R-LED daylights, are these now your indicators?
I'd really like to have both, the led stripes AND the old R daylights in the bumper at the same time, which would mean that I'd have to somehow put the old indicators in the new headlights.. How did you do it?

No point of telling excatly what i did, because you'd need to have one with exact same specs as mine that it would work on yours also..

Indicators are on bumper drl's, just have disconnected the drl lights on those.

Well these are the things that i've done. I dont take any responsibility if it doesnt work on your / you break something.

Bumper drl + signal to pin 12
Pin 13 remove and put it to pin 10
(The little led closest to center lights up from pin 8. Not connected now)
Then new afs ordered with 2015 scirocco vin, and fully rewired it.

Heya , really nice car there mate keep it up ! May i ask , did u need to change any body parts in order to change the headlights cause i asked at the VW Service advisor and he told me i need to change bumper etc but i think he just wanna grab some cash , did u change any Hood or sides or anything? And is there any way to connect without "tweaking" the wiring ?

Haha!! God i love vw services.. They dont know shit

No. You dont need to change anything, just the wires. If you have xenons already they'll work somehow without changing the wirings. Low/high beam only.
