Sat Nav

Post by Pete-B »

Hi, We've got a 2 year old R line and have never updated the Sat Nav, how do I go about doing this and what's it likely to cost?

Thanks for any help.

Have a look here. I believe these people are the official suppliers of map updates to VW now.

I think the page in the last post is just for discover media in the 2015 models. I have a Oct 2015 car with discover media which came with 0430 maps and I updated in Nov 2015 to 0521 using this page. Went well.

For the RNS510 map updates still seem to come from CD which you can buy from VW for £100 or from ebay for £20. Last ones I got for my old car were v12 or 8195. It would seem v13 (8348) is now available, example here. Or drop me a PM and I'll stick the v12 CD in the post, no use to me anymore.
