I don't think it was standard on that model/year.

It should be in front of the gear stick and have comfort/a suspension icon/sport written on it.

As said above, it was a cost option on that model.

if it's like my TDI it should be on the drivers door shut. there should be a sticker with the model, power and fuel

Have a look under the bonnet, if there is a supercharger and a turbocharger then it's the 160. If it's only got a turbocharger it's the 122.

DCC is not an easy or cheap retro-fit. Money would be better spent on better suspension from the likes of KW and Bilstein.

Has it got a TSI badge on the back? If so then if the SI are in red it's a 160. (All red for my 2012 onwards).

Can't believe you've bought a car not knowing :-)

Still in the garage, have to insure it on myself next monday, to say the truth I taught its the 160 but now im thinkink its the 122, as the service history invoices state its a 122, found a sticker near the spare wheel stating 90kw. Whats the biggest diffrence between the two models apart from the bhp ? And can I some how increase the bhp ?. Also for shocks any reccomendations?

why do you want chassis control?

I had the 122 2010 model as above it was a cost option.

The suspension is already very much in a 'comfort' mode on that car.

If you want sport mode thats undriveable on all but the smoothest surfaces. That just leaves you with 'normal' which on an R is still harsh on normal roads so i'm always in comfort.

So yeh not sure why you want it anyway

wow, then not of a huge fuss. no need for a stiff ride, might lower the car a bit, only problem the roads in my country aren't the best

Human nature, you always want what you haven't got.

At first I thought DCC was a gimmick but in reality it's quite useful.
