Running coilovers dsn button flashing can I code it out ?

Hi all

I've recently bought a candy White gt tdi 170 scirocco after many vag group cars it's currently fitted with coilovers and 20" cls63 amg wheels I've got the normal sport comfort button flashing at me because it's had the suspention changed can I change the coding in Vcds to stop this or will I just have to put up with the flashing button

Most people just remove the button ...

Ahh good idea I was tempted to put a small bit of black tape over it so I couldn't see it but I might do that now cheers

Unplug the wire from the back and leave the button there. Less obtrusive than a empty space or a bit of tape.

Yeh I will do that I think it's annoying flashing away at me do the modes normal sport etc only effect the suspention when it's original then I've not had mine long I've had loads of other vags s3 8l 8p ed30 mk5 gtis r32 etc I love the scirocco though I must admit

What coilovers did you buy? Most companies supply a kit for this

Or as said just disconnect the button

I was told they was koni when I bought the car but looking at them I think there just cheap ones I'd of kept the original shocks and used lowering springs myself personally but it's already done now I've still not disconnected it or anything yet this reminded me again lol

So I can't see it flashing now rather than disconnect it I removed the button and removed the cap off the button and put black insulation tape over the inside of the button it's reversible and was an easy fix happy days
