Belfast - 2010 Viper Green Scirocco R

Post by Boydie »

Thought it was about time I put my car up on show.

I come from a pretty good back ground of performance cars over the last 6 or 7 years:

2009-2014 a 2007 Audi S3 Revo Stage 2+ with 372bhp
2014-2015 a 2005 Porsche Cayman S Revo tuned with 300bhp
2015 for a brief spell a 2010 Audi S4 Avant 3.0V6T with 335bhp

I bought my Scirocco R locally in June 2015 after owning the S4 for 4 months just. I traded it in and have happily driven the R every day since! Brings me back to my S3 days and I have always wanted one so when it came up for sale I found it quite hard to say no!!

Anyway, its a 2010 in Viper Green and I bought it with 20k miles

From the summer to xmas last year I was renovating my house so the low miles came in handy and something a bit more economical than the S4.

When I bought it:

So I added 25mm H&R springs and 8mm/12mm H&R Spacers front/rear shortly after purchase. Around September I had the car completely detailed and treated with C-Quartz ceramic coating. The finish is superb and under the sunlight it just shines!!

Just before Xmas a friend contacted me to let me know he was breaking his R so I scoop up these items for a keen price:

Finally fitted this week due to house, weather and work :( but I am very happy with the outcome along with addition of black VW badges:

Also, I like the look of the car with the rear wiper so this came off last weekend courtesy of gecleant.de

And that's about it so far. I also installed a Revo intake but I would like to get the engine bay cleaned up before posting any pictures. Love driving the car and future plans include OEM 19" wheels possibly in black, Revo remap, RNS510 DAB and that is basically it.

This car will be long term so going to enjoy it and not go too mad too soon on it!

Thanks for looking

Picture of the rear to see the de-rear wiper mod a bit better

And one of the engine bay cleaned slightly. I am on the hunt for a TTS engine cover to tidy it up a bit as well as a black washer bottle cap.
