2.0tsi DSG Adam's new toy

Post by supermoto552 »

Alright everyone....just thought I'd get my first of probably many photos of my new car...Just picked this baby up today, well chuffed with it so far...really well looked after and feels like new, hope she's good to me!

I've spent the last three months trying to find the right one and to save up enough, but finally pulled the trigger and went for this one, left home at 8am this morning and finally got back in at 6pm, a good trek across the country but certainly worth it.

2.0TSi DSG, Leather, RNS510,Parking Sensors.

First plans tomorrow are getting the neuspeed induction kit on it courtesy of forum member Bowser! And then H&R's and either R-tech or celtic map when finances allow!

I'll keep updating as I go. Image

Haha yeah sure did mate, it's mk5 wheel :( and red mfd. There was one that came up for same price on the drive to this one but this one is pretty much immaculate with loads of history and only 2 owners,of which he's had for last 4 years. Got your intake on it first thing this morning :) much better, still fairly quiet tho, will have to get resonator removed!

Mine has Mk6 steering wheel and white dash, should've wrapped mine Rising blue! Haha.

The intake doesn't really affect exhaust noise but does make the turbo spool more vocal!

Enjoy it mate!

Gave the beauty a little detail today, single stage DA polish with Menzerna super finish and FK1000P Wax, would people say this combo is a good setup? I'm looking at something durable but gives a deep glossy shine, only bought a sample pot of wax so just testing the waters.

I'm sorry but that red pin stripe just doesn't work for me.

Nice to see what colour my car is, should I ever get round to washing it:-)

Haha get washing cuprabob! It's ok mate, each to their own on mods, guess I just felt it's lacking the gti feel like the golf, pretentious I know, but will also be wanting to colour code the Grill to look more like an "R" [emoji45]
