Rear light removal (not that technical)
Needing to replace a rear brake bulb as I have one out, but can't figure out how to get the unit out! Find myself staring at two black nut type things on the rear of the cluster that I can only guess holds them in. But can't budge them, tried twisting, pushing etc but nothing. Can anyone tell me exactly what I need to do before something gets broken? Why can't it be as simply as my mk3 golf!!

Re: Rear light removal (not that technical)
All i had to do was remove a simple white plastic "screw" with a spring attached to it. Then the taillight simply slides outwardsCooz93 wrote:Needing to replace a rear brake bulb as I have one out, but can't figure out how to get the unit out! Yep its so simple a 5 year old could do it.
I replaced my reverse bulbs with white leds.
Undo the white screw which has a spring on it. Once undone the light unit will just pull away from the car body. Just make sure you unplug the connector aswell.
That's it job done.
