want to display MPH instead of KPH

Hi,

got brand new Scirocco R 65 plate. displays KPH in centre of drivers cockpit but want it to display MPH. can this be done manually without plugging into anything?

I know that it couldn't be done previously due to the fact the km/h wasn't marked on the speedo so EU regulations required it on the display. However now VW seem to be marking it on the speedos surely there should be some way of changing it.

Oh right. Sorry, I'm new to this. What's VAGCOM and would this change invalidate warranty etc. Can the change be easily undone. Thanks.

No just buy vcds or visit someone who has it. Its a very handy programm and there are other ways then buy it directly from rosstech.

The original poster says for a 65 plate car but what year is your car? Loads of people including me have done it with VAGCOM (aka VCDS) on pre-facelift cars. I haven't found anyone including me who has done it on a 2015 year car.

Yeah - I was referring to 65 plate. Mine was week 43 build 2015

Then I don't think you can at this time. But would love to be proved wrong. Maybe a future version of the software will let you do it but if you try with the current version it won't let you save back to the device when you select Rest of World.
