Had mine a year now, these are pictures from just after I got it and had it detailed and protected. 10K+ trouble free miles and it's just been treated to H&R springs, and will be getting some new rubber soon. Only other changes have been the rear cup holder from the Golf, LEDs for the interior lights and I fitted the door card puddle lights recently having had some VAG tweaks (beep & big speedo), oh and a Flux Capacitor!

Saw a pic of yours on Instagram which prompted me to purchase some of the GTechniq products as per you hashtag. I've got to say, this condition of your car is immaculate, is there a specific product you are using to clean/maintain the paintwork or is it more of a routine you follow?

It's picked up a couple of chips over the last few months but I think it's stayed so good as I'm just a little OCD. I had it delivered without a dealership 'wash' so the new car detail from MidlandVW didn't have any paint damage to put right before the GTechniq treatment. After that I bought the GTechniq maintenance kit, which is a PH neutral wash, quick detailer & tyre dressing and I've solely used that over the last year, just snowfoamed then mitt wash and dried with the quick detailer. It's had a couple of £5 hand car washes when I've been short of time, then I've gone home and finished off afterward with the detailer but that's it.

It's due a top up now really but credit to Russ at MidlandVW as it still shines up really well.

So having returned from deployment in Afghanistan, I decided it was time to treat myself a little. So I traded life in my 2.0TDI Rocco for my my new Pure White Facelift R!

So far we have, APR Stage 1, Centre Silencer Delete, Airlift Performance V2 (Boot build -Only Charged Dubs), FORGE BOV, FORGE Twintake!
