Adding Iron-X to snow foam bottle?

Post by supermoto552 »

Would it be safe or useful to add some iron x to the snow foam bottle when foaming....as to kill two birds with one stone? Do it all in one hit kind of thing? Just thinking about time saving and if it would work or anyone's tried it before?

I don't use Iron-X personally but when it comes to giving the car the full works Im a firm believer that if your gonna do a proper job you can't cut corners. Even if it's doable, its probably worth taking the time and doing it right :)

I wouldn't do it.
It will get diluted down to much so won't be effective. And do you really want to be mixing two different products together. Should they be mixed.? What if it was to cause a reactions for example. Not saying it would. But you never know.

Never mix cleaning products together. As others have said, you don't know how they will react to each other.

Don't do it, it won't work properly. Iron X to a snow foam type product which I've used and it's nowhere near as effective as proper iron .

Yeh car pro do snow soap.
But from what iv heard it's not worth buying it.
Stick to snowfoaming as normal and applying iron x by itself.

I got a right roasting on Facebook about running powermaxed jet wash & wax through my snow foam lance. One response was shouldn't of run it through it,it's a snow foam lance. Still need to strip my lance I used once down as it now won't pick anything up

Ha so my idea wasn't too far fetched then,if they've made a product then ;) Pity it's not that great tho...to be fair I didn't even think about it ruining the lance, glad I didn't try.

I ended up asking powermaxed if it's safe & they said it won't damage anything as it's Ph neutral. Would seem that it's clogged my new lance I used once though.

Apply direct, otherwise your diluting it.

I use the kleenfreaks iron remover on my wheels & it's better than anything I've used previously, it's safe too, my Rotiforms look like new every time
