The induction kit itself was a second hand unit bought off this forum. Awesome GTI sell the kits new for about £200 I think. The filter I bought brand new.....

The noise of the induction kit over standard air box is quite noticeable. Sounds very nice!

There's no square on side pics anywhere! Hence why I took it! Most people go for H&R but I'd have nothing else on mine.....love the VWR height

Are the VW R springs not the same as the Eibach ones?

I believe they basically are an Eibach spring yes. The main thing with thesew is, they're VW approved. You get a certificate to say they're designed to work with all the components on your car. Too low a spring and it'll beat sh*t out your shock absorbers etc. These won't invalidate any warranty or anything like that, which is nice to know

All good things to have. Currently debating springs myself. My car has no warrenty as it over 3 years old now so I'm struggling to justify the extra £100+ the VW R would cost over Eibach.

Mine isn't in warranty either, by a long shot. But it's nice to know it's working in harmony. The price difference isn't all that different really....

You can get H&R's for £130 delivered to your door. I can't fault then myself and my Rocco still has over 2 years warranty left.

Eibach can be got for £130 delivered of German eBay. Still considering the VW R ones though. I must be mad!

Is anybody insured with aviva? I've asked them about springs and they said they don't cover modified cars?

Some companies won't insure mods, I'm with Admiral/Diamond and they're fine with them.

I couldn't find any decent prices with standard insurers for a remap and other modifications. I went for modified car insurance with Chris Knott. They're worth trying.

Hey mate , pretty sure this car is now on my drive ? Sounds & looks like the R32 my son Jake bought last year
If so it has been cossetted by him & all your efforts have been well received , the exhaust set up is terrific & barring minor service work the car has been faultless for him
Currently hunting 2.0 TSi DSG
Z4M weekender / 345bhp & BCS boxes
