Post by MRKJM »

As the title says guys thinking of ordering my Scirocco GT shortly (in white) don't know whether to order the parking sensors or not, do any of you's think it ruins the flush look of the rear bumper?

i think it does a bit, makes it less "smooth", and you quite easally know how big the car is once you get use to the mirrors

Glad you've got a sense of humour MRKJM :)
Sorry I couldn't resist it

More seriously, I guess the sensors don't exactly improve the look of the back bumper but the rear visibility is pretty bad on the Scirocco.

I've ordered the sensors, they're not pretty, but I think they will be worthwile when parking in town, multistoreys etc
I guess they're the lesser of two evils

I think they're fine. You don't really notice them after a while. They might be a bit colour sensitive though. I think the darker colours hide them better. But I certainly wouldn't want to be without them.

They're not pretty? They're hardly noticeable either way - that big bollard dent will be hugely noticeable though.

There is some level of detail that is so over the top anal - the nipples are colour coded, if they looked any less conspicuous then they wouldn't be there!

Seems the people who spec'd them couldn't/wouldn't do without them and the people who didn't don't like them. Each to their own I suppose at the end of the day, thanks for replies guys :bigthumb:
