Re: Victor
sooo... finally got round to swapping out the old bluetooth module for a new one to get all the good stuff happening on the steering wheel and mfd display. eventually tracked it down - stuck to the floor with velcro under the gear stick/dcc area. swapped it over to the new box, turned the car off and on and it all worked. no vagcom coding needed. £135, bargain. shame i took the rns and climatronic units out even though i didn't have to, lol!!

quick stock take on the cleaning cupboard: getting better, that poor boys stuff is amazing, much like auto finesse tripple. haven't tried the blue (hard) dodo wax yet.

Which phone do you have? It becomes quite a costy upgrade considering it's just for making metadata work.easyrider wrote:EvilMr.Lee wrote:Where did you get the BT-Module? D:

Re: Victor
iphone 6s, but my 4s works fine too.
bit of a long story about the bt module. was given a bluetooth unit from a peterg who had it in an older gt scirocco which had a red mfd. when he installed it into mine (white mfd) it all worked apart from the dash screen integration and steering wheel controls. it was an old skoda module and the first time i'd ever had hands free in the car so was grateful and chuffed. the new module was just over £100 and required no new coding and was easy to replace. worth it for the money, definitely - loads safer to make and receive calls whilst driving and all the menus and buttons work too plus you get an extra mfd menu which is always good, surely?!

Re: Victor
tripple is really good for a polish - not found anything better yet but not tried many other products. got a bottle of poor boys black hole to try and going to do a big dodo hard wax before winter sets in so will post pics of the results of those two. open to suggestions if anyone has any recommendations...robinalex wrote:Victor's shine looks ace, I see you have auto finesse triple in your cleaning cupboard, I use that too and have a black Rocco and find it rellay easy to use and gives a great finish.
