Grey Worm - 2015 Rocco R

Post by stujotham »

Bought this lil fella last week and been a happy owner since. This is the first German car I have really owned.....in fact it is the first car of any value I have owned. I am use to a little 2000 1.4 auto Honda Civic, so going to this was a bit of an upgrade......and a surprise. It is awesome. I have wanted one for 6 years and now I have one and I am super happy. So many features on this thing I have no idea what they do. I only just figured out that the lights follow the direction on my steering wheel....that is some space age shit to me (but no doubt been around for years :shake: ) Anyway, here are a couple of snaps I have got of the car so far. 2 are from the phone so don't judge me!!

Thanks a lot guys. I love it. You are right, it is a huge step up from the Civic.....like almost going to the moon kind of step up!!

Plans so far are just to drive it really. Want to get the right MDI cable so my iPhone 5S can work with the system but I am waiting for that to be sent. Bluetooth does not seem to pick up the albums etc, just single songs. I have the RNS 510, does anyone else have this issue? Seems to be a common thing this media cable milarky :D

I love the colour and I think it shows off the lines of the car really well, I am glad I did not go down the Viper road in the end.

Stunning car mate! :) One of the best colors for a Scirocco.
Have you considered lowering it? It is usually the first mod on rocco owners list :)

Thanks guys.

I agree a little bit about liking the previous shape R a bit more, but to be honest the only thing I like more on the older style is the front end. Everything else I definitely prefer this shape. Haha I know what you mean though about the pics, I just love the lines on these cars and think it deserves some nice pics. Just got my new camera through aswell so expect to see some more shots pop up here and there.

As for doing anything to the car, I really don't think I need to at the moment. I'm just loving it as it is, the way it looks, feels and moves. I've always been a bit more on the side of 'function over fashion' and because of where I live, lowering would just cause more problems. So as for doing anything to it, I actually have no clue at the mo......just keep paying the fuel bill haha

Thanks again peeps

I actually prefer the facelift now. The more I look at them, the more they grow on me!

I do think you should lower it though! They sit far to high standard.. (laughable at how high they are tbh) and even 20mm lower will look much better.. Imo of course!

But I'm glad you're enjoying it! I'm looking forward to what the new model will be like in a year two :D

Cheers buddy. I do love it more and more to be honest. It's a monster compared to what I'm use to. It sits lower than standard models so I don't think it's to bad to be honest but again, it's a personal preference.

I might only keep it for a year or so then move onto something else, I know what I'm like haha
