Coil light flashing!! Code help!

Post by Fuzzit7 »

So the coil light keeps coming on and my scirocco 140 tdi keeps going in to limp mode,
I checked on a snap-on diagnostic machine and it came up with code P2138.
Something to do with the throttle.

Il try post the picture my friend took of the actual code and message on the screen once he has sent it me as that might be abetter help.

Any help with this would be great if anyone has had the same problem and what it actually was you did to sort it.

Thanks everyone

First thing to do is to check the connections at the throttle pedal and at the throttle body.

Thats true but i like people that do some research themselves.
When i Googled vw pedal removal the first hit was a very detailed description with pictures and everything.
There is so much you can find yourself.
