Replacing the P7's what tire is recommended

The time is nigh when the Cinturato P7's need to be replaced. I don't need all season tires as it is summer all year long here in southern China. What tire would you recommend on 18" wheels?
I'm not exploring the limits og adhesion on the current tires so no need for full racing slicks i suppose.

run something that has no big blocks in the tyres especially in the back as i was told a lot of rocs get sawtooth tyre wear and P zeros seem to have done this on mine (mind u the ones on the back were the originals from 2009 :O) ive changed them to fronts and put new on back waiting to tear up the streets so i can get some not so blocky tyres then swap them back

Thanks for the insight. A colleauge recmmended PZero's but he drives a modified Z350, it a bit subjective these things often. I asked about Bridgestones, but he just did not like them at all, for no good reason.

I bit of a read for me tonight.
I'll have a read a try to find a tire with less road noise, good in the dry, not horrible in the wet. and a reasonable price.

i have had falken ze914's they are great in dry and wet and have lasted for over 35000 miles and they are really good value for high performance i think

Pardon an old man. What blocks are you refering too?

Wheel alignment that can be done, just did it as the service tech said one wheel was out by a bit. Effing railroad tracks. The shop i used have a lift with mirrors on it. I was playing solitaire on the phone so I’m not sure what kind of machine it was. Oh, and the red Audi R8 took some of my attention also.
Falken ZE914 are nicely priced, and if I can get that many miles on them they may sail up as a favorite. Nitto NT05 and Dunlop Direzza are reasonably priced also, anyone tried those.
Bridgestone RE11 and Yokohama AD08R about twice that of the Falkens. But that is expect for tires classes as extreme performance. And yes I am leaning that way, specially if I can get good milage on them,
Four more weeks at work, then I'll have 2000km trip to do. By the end I expect to make the swap for the fronts for sure

the tread has blocks.

all down the middle is block block block block so if you put these on the back you may head road noise as they wear (sawtoothed)

Sure enough one rear tire gave up on the way home. A rift all around the inside sidewall. Maby increased pressure due to fully loaded car and high outside temps did it in. Road surface must have been closer to 50 than 40 C. Got a replacement Michelin PS3 45 profile tire, the only tire available in the town closest. Back home in rural Sichuan they just don't have 235/40/18 in stock and they won't sell me the tires i ask for. They ask why i can't use 45 profiles instead. Goodbye is what i tell them. Currently on the plate is Bridgestone RE050 & RE11, Yokohama AD08R and Michelin PSS.
I'd like to get about 30k kms out of a set. My driving is spirited at times when i find the right road, and i always find one. Maybe a new set of P7s or PZeros is the way to go?

Update. #1 Ordered a set RE11s. Exited to see how they preform.
Update #2 Got a set of RE050A delivered. Not exited to how they preform .

Never let anyone take care of something you want done right. Boneheads a the tireshop thought whatever they thought and got it wrong. I don't have time to wait to change as work is calling again. Back to the Kingdom.
