i think the idea of them is great because its automatic tension, just an absolute bastard to put into practice and remove!

Yup.

I think Ive reached the end of what I can do for this. I bet its a 20 min job on a new car that they do the development fittings on.

Think Im gonna have to close the bonnet and call a pro now. That lower rubber hose isnt budging because of the spring clips, and its going to be just as difficult to put the old one back on.

Wirral mobile mechanics anyone? Lol

mines a '59 and took me about half an hour, just attacked it with pure determination, first job i've ever done on my own car thats gone 100% okay

My mistake was trying to fit it in before the gym at 4. Ive done loads of stuff on my old cars, 1 series, 200sx, focus st etc. This is without a doubt the shittiest job Ive ever tackled. The whole arrangement is a nightmare. No room to move, no visibility, every single step is locked on tight. Should have paid the guy £40 to do it.

where did you get the green engine bay cover danfalcon ? Did you buy them that colour or have you sprayed or wrapped the original?
