Engine cover

Post by humpo »

Hi all

Popped the bonnet on my new facelift 1.4 tsi GT today and there is no VW branded plastic moulding cover over some of the engine parts, unlike the 2013 model i gave back.

Phoned them and asked me to send pictures which i have.

Any owners of the same model care to advise if they have VW branding under the hood ?

Cheers

Have seen a video online which shows the same engine bay layout as mine and no VW branded cover. For some reason, it looks a bit untidy to me compared to the 2013 Roc i had.

It's a completely new engine with no exhaust manifold for example and no engine cover as air box is over engine so their isn't a logo to be seen unfortunately but it is how it is.
