Hi Guys,
First post. I am currently looking at buying a 2.0 tsi and was wondering when did the RCd510 start having a DAB radio?

Im almost certain the rcd510 only had dab as an option, it was the rns315 that came with standard dab

As above, DAB was a cost.option with the RCD510. Worth every penny IMO

The dab reception on the scirocco is fantastic, our new Tiguan on the other hand.......

I've literally just traded my remapped 11 plate 170 GT to a mate, Dab was one of the factory options I specced when I bought it.

Bought a new one on ebay (someone with a new car trading up to RNS 510) and fitted it myself. Parts for fitting cost about £80.00. The new amplifier was the most expensive part as had to go to VW for that. Worth doing though - really good reception.
