Great project!
Please get silver Pro Race 1.3s....want to see the result :)
Silver will look to out of place on a blue/black theme, but thinking a satin black over gloss black
Rising blue rocco looks awesome with black or anthracite wheels. Looking forward seeing them on :)

Cheers mate, I had anthracite 1.2's on one of my old cars, but a friend had 1.3's on his VXR and they were much nicer then 1.2's so thinking anthracite 1.3's, although with the gloss black trims on the R bumpers etc I am tempted to just go black

Well, in your case it's actually easier :D
You don't need to swap the CECM, you just need to change the wiring and code them accordingly. Take a look at YyB's project, he also has a MY09 and has them fitted ;)

:D :D :D

In my case (MY10.5) I had to swap the BCM, rewire the lights and only with VAG CAN Pro I was able to put them working (both front and rear lights, OEM wired). In your case, you're able to code them with VCDS without problems.

You just need a solution for the front blinkers... :p

yes they fit but if you have 3 plug BCM you need the 2015 bcm.

I am lucky I have a cecm so could fit... so tempting but I like the factory DRL look on the R bumper

The new rims look spot on, just like mine! Out of interest, what did you do with your old interior trim bits?
