My Rocco- New Addition

Post by dansmith95 »

Here's the first photo i've uploaded of my car! This is it a few weeks after I bought it and got my plates sorted out.

I then decided to change the wheels to the ones I hunted for for AGES...even before I bought the car I knew I wanted these. Sourced from Autowintels on German eBay. Bought direct and skipped eBay so save myself some money and got free shipping too! Savannah Anthracite wheels off a Tiguan, real VW wheels.

Also added exhaust tips, only cheap but like the extra chrome details!

Hope you like, and look forward t any suggestions of what to do next. Am planning to lower it next month using Eibach springs, only 30-40mm as I just want to bring it a little closer to the floor. Nothing drastic as it's my every day car and my work takes me to lots of odd places. Would love to introduce some carbon over time but not sure where and how to get it nice and cheap!

if its an everyday car, go for the eibach pro springs, lowers 25-30 mm. gives a nice 1 inch arch gap all round... for carbon fibre mirror covers look on parts4euro.com theres a set on there for 170 dollars (100 squid).

Hi, I have a question. Can you get eibach pro springs that lower any more than that? Only I was told that as i'm running savannahs i could do with 30-40mm?

Thanks mat. Have gone with the Eibach 20-25mm ones as I was worried, seeing as it's my every day car. Job takes me to building sites and stuff and don't want to be grounding out and looking like a prat. Will see how I get on, and might end up going lower in time.
