Wax for candy white..

Any suggestions for which wax to use on candy white....?

Bit of a subjective question really - there are several factors to influence your final decision
White Devil has a candy & I know he checks this section daily he will no doubt share his experience but before then some points to consider
1. How long do you want the finish to last - or rather how often will you be applying it
2. What is your budget
3. What type of finish do you want - glassy or oily

I've recently reviewed both soft fusso and bouncers Sherbert fizz the first gives a very glassy high shine while the second (and my personal favourite finish) gives a glorious oily lustre but these are personal opinions and on my car which is reflex silver not candy white

I've also used the Werkstat acrylic kit which is very very easy to use but sadly no longer available & Auto Finisse temptation as well as the bog standard but no less effective auto gym super resin polish & extra gloss polish with very acceptable results & available from Halfrauds

However do understand that once you start down the detailers path "forever will it dominate your destiny" !

I've tried various autoglym products but don't really find them very easy to use, usually leaving like a powder residue etc. I've tried spray wax detailers, although easy to use, they don't last very long and end up nearly to do it weekly. Would like something that lasts a bit longer and looks like you have actually waxed it rather than just a good wash.

Id like to have a nice glossy look but everything I've tried so far not really been that impressed with....

What about dodo juice supernatural? I'm using that at the minute on my candy white

I used to have a candy white Roc that I used Werkstat Acrylic Kit on and was very happy with its ease of use, look and durability. Since it is no longer available I've started using Carlack acrylic sealant instead of the Werkstat.

As far as I can tell it is just as easy to use and gives similar or the same results as the Werkstat Acrylic on my new Porsche Cayman S which is also white.

Said that the werkstat kit was based on carlack kit. Just tweaked. So it is basically the same product.

There is soooo many waxs to choose from.
As Mr hooper has said already there is a few things your need to think of what you want from the wax.
durability? Looks? Ease of use? Cost? List goes on.
again sealant option is a good way to go. I had auto finesse tough coat on my car and gave good protection. I have also put auto finesse illusion wax on my car and it looked fantastic. It's a show wax and made my car super glossy. But durability is reduced down to it being a show car wax.

I use AutoGlym Aqua Wax but noticed after about a week it was looking a bit dirty again, I suppose the fact I commute on the motorway everyday doesn't help with all the salt and rain recently. I only like it cus its so easy to apply and don't need to dry it first, reduces washing time especially in this weather.

Finish Kare Hi-Temp Sealant. Perfect, also brilliant on alloys.

I use Autoglym high definition wax every 4 months and Autoglym aqua wax spray (while car is wet) every other car wash.

Does a good job for me and the beading looks really good!

I've just bought a white Rocco, picked it up and it had been valleted so it looks absolutely amazing!! So, obviously I want to keep it that way!
Since this car is f*cking beautiful, I want to ensure that I am using the right products to keep it shining! I am new to the whole car care thing, all I did with the previous cars was use some car shampoo then let it dry haha!
Don't have a clue about pre-washing, waxing, polishing, and whatever else there is
