Keep the Corsa and don't kill a Scirocco by driving it around cold every day! Buy a nice weekend and evening car, R or 2.0 tsi.

I agree, it would be a waste of such a nice car doing such little mileage if that was its sole purpose. But dont be put off the scirocco, let it be driven, it wants to be driven! :D
