Bluetooth, iPhone 6 problem
Hey, So this topic has probably been covered but I've searched and cannot seem to find a definite answer to my problem.
The Details:
59 Plate 2.0L Scirocco.
RCD 510
White MFD
9w7 BT module (I'm not 100% on this)
iPhone 6 iOS8.3
Could anyone gimme a little help with this please?
*EDIT* I also have a problem with my DAB, Whenever i try listen to a DAB only radio station it seems to cut out alot of the time, i don't live out in the country

Re: Bluetooth, iPhone 6 problem
I can find my phone on the MFD, when i try connect it says "Mobile phone not compatible"
I'm looking into it and seems i have "5N0 035 730 B" bluetooth module.
I've looked about and found that the new "5N0 035 730 D" is what i need for the iPhone 6 to be able to use.

Yeah, I've had the car a while but kind of forgot about it.
I've found a new module on eBay for £89 but wanted to ask here before i jump in and pay it

Re: Bluetooth, iPhone 6 problem
There's a box under the Driver seat, just peal that off (dont need to remove the wires) turn it over and its the big long number similar to the one i wrote above.
Thanks Robb

Re: Bluetooth, iPhone 6 problem
When my phone won't connect I just unplug the big connector on the module and reconnect it after 10 secs, all works now.

Re: Bluetooth, iPhone 6 problem
Did you have an older iPhone prior to the 6, running iOS 7 through the bluetooth?
iOS8 came bundled with a pretty bad bluetooth bug that pretty much rendered in-car systems and other bluetooth devices useless - if the above applies, you may find that your device has carried the bug across either due to the previous connection or a restore from a backup.
Try this - forget / delete any phones / devices from the bluetooth system. Once done, jump into your iPhone and navigate to 'Reset network settings' (make sure bluetooth is off for this). Once done, if the phone doesn't automatically reboot, shut it down yourself via a hard reset (hold home button and power button together until power off). Switch the phone on, if bluetooth is on, toggle it off or now - switch on the car, turn bluetooth on and start searching - hopefully you should see your bluetooth system and connect without any further issues.
Hope that helps!

Re: Bluetooth, iPhone 6 problem
Unfortunately, I didn't own the car when I had my older iPhone. It doesnt look like any phones are saved onto the memory.
My car can find my phone and my phone can find the car, but as soon as i goto pair them no password is displayed and then i get a message "mobile phone is not compatible"

I had the same symptoms - resetting network settings sorted me out, worth a try!
