My Bagged Silver Rocco from Belgium
Hi Guys/Girls!
My name is Kevin, 22y old..
I'm new to this forum from Belgium so please excuse me for possible mistakes in my writing.
I own a 1.4 TSI 122bhp Silver Leaf Scirocco from 2010
Got It at a VW dealer 2,5 years ago with around 6200 miles on the clock (10 thousand KM)
I'ts not the fastest one on the planet but I'm happy..
My build from start till now : (some pictures are a bit crappy, sorry! )
In My opinion, the stock scirocco suspension was way to high.
So I started of a few weeks after I bought it to lower it with an AP coilover kit and kill some wheelgap.
next, I got a set of 19" replica Rotiform BLQ's and did some carmeets here and there over the weekends
Drove around like this a few months but since I started to roll more heavily into the stanced car culture
I had It with seeing replicated wheels everywhere so I decided to get myself a pair of nice clean looking real wheels.
Always been a fan of Rotiform, Especcialy the "IND" model so I got these fitted and loved the result.
As a next small update I decided to remove that horribly ugly looking dust holding windowscrathing rear wiper
Ordered a glass plug from gecleant.de and It looked so much better IMO. This removal should be a factory option, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who likes this better
And I wrapped my blinkers in smoked orange and installed orange led's for that US-Lights look.
This is where the Lovers/hate part start..
The coilovers did a great job but I always liked how cars looked on airride, when I spotted some bagged rocco's on different carmeets I knew I needed this in my life.
If understand not everyone is into "stupidly" low cars but I'm not hating on stock suspension cars either so keep it decent in the comment section please.
I still accept honest critics though
Looked around for a good set of bags and my eyes fell on an barely used Accuair E-Level system that was for sale for a very good price and was almost plug and play for my car.
Since this is one of the best systems on the market right now I drove over there, bought it and got it installed over a weekend and resulted into this.
Since my rear wheels are 10J wide, I needed to camber the rear with the maxiumum amount of factory camber I could get and so they could fell nicely into the arches.
here's a picture together with my buddy's black rocco.
next possible hate part.. I wanted more low in the front, so I got my frame/chassis notched and also now my cardan Isn't hitting my chassis everytime I hit a bump.
And oh yes.. we have a lot of bumpy roads in banana belgium
Survived winter on stock wheels and the we arrived at 2015.
last month I got my wheels refurbished and ceramic polished with a brushed face finish at PUCpolish/Felgenwerkes UK and I love how they came out!
And as my last update till now I got my front bumper smoothed and my grille painted in piano gloss black.
And this is how I'ts siting now.
Here's some pics from our own last meet (Heaven On Wheels, maybe a recognazible name to some)
Comments/critics are more then welcome
Cheers!

Oh my bad, must have mistaken you with someone else then.
There's another belgian guy with a Matte grey Scirocco R.
Thought that was yours.

Uhmm next plans.
Probably starting with some interior works, planning to fit Recaro schalensitze in it and add some details in Alcantara.
Oh and yesterday I ordered a interior led light kit. Looks way better then the standard yellow shining one's.

Looks awesome buddy, one of my favorite silver roccos
What did you use to wrap the DRL's orange? I tried doing this a while ago using a normal orange tint vinyl but it wasn't as dark as what yours looks and i scrapped the idea

Its not that easy to find but I got mine at a local car wrapping shop.
If you really want an US-lights look you should also fit orange led's in it, because otherwise with white ones you will get a weird looking tint of yellow shining trough it.

Re: My Bagged Silver Rocco from Belgium
Been awhile since I updated my post.
Went to Raceism in Poland last month and it was an amazing experience.
Added 1600 Miles on the clock in just 3 days but it was the best show I've ever been to!
Also got a frontsplitter fitted just before leaving. Really happy with the result as the front end touches ground now when aired out
Some Pics :
On the road.
At showground.
Also considering to get my front VW badge removed and cleaned up. Not sure yet..

Nice Rocco Kevin!
I'm bagging my R aswell next week with Air Lift Performance V2.
also might remove the front Badge in the near future.
Do you know how much they ask to do that, and where? (I also live in Belgium)
~Groetjes Michael
