Yeh same here. Although I did it anyway lol.selleym wrote:Oh dear! Ha!whiteDevil_170 wrote:Washed mine. Nothing exciting.
Then the wind blew dust all over it so now it's got a layer of dust on it.
I decided not to wash the car at all as there was too much red dust everywhere!

I washed my car for the very last time and tomorrow I will be cleaning the inside and emptying all my personal stuff. I loved my RLine Tdi and it's been a great all round car.

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
gave mine a wash
followed by decontaminate the paintwork with auto finesse iron out. God this stuff smells like shit. Then went round with tar remover. Then rinsed Down. Whiped out the bilt hamber clay bar and clayed the whole car. Paintwork wasn't as smooth as it use to be. Much better now. Followed up with auto finesse triple polish .
Polished the black mirror caps and god they are shiny. It was like looking in a mirror. Makes me wish the whole car was black.
Wanted to wax it but didn't have time.
Ah well perhaps tomorrow or next weekend.

Fitted HT splitter !
Looks good and good fit too, a little bit of filing needed but other than that no problems

No pics just fitted it washed it so it's shiny again
Really good fit though I had to file down the inside on each corner a bit to get it flush over the lip, you'll understand when it comes to fitting it !
But a really good fit otherwise, I didn't get mine sprayed to match but it would look awesome if it was Cc'd.

Hi everyone, it's been a while....!
Didn't do this today but I booked my remap, finally! Have had my baby for just over a year so I thought it deserved an anniversary gift.

Got my wheel arch resprayed after some idiot hit it with there car door and left a nasty scratch and a little dent.
Now to get some wheel spacers for the rear wheels. Not sure whether to get 5mm or 8mm yet.

How much did this set you back? I have exactly the same issue on that panel! Some idiot smashed his door into mine scratching and denting that panel! GrrrrLewis Miller wrote:Got my wheel arch resprayed after some idiot hit it with there car door and left a nasty scratch and a little dent.

Pressure washed to remove the worst, handwashed, dried, polished with Auto Finesse Tripple, exhaust cleaned with metal polish, plastic treated with Revitalise and rubbers treated with gummipledge. Four hours hard graft after work while the missus is away. Cant beat black in my opinion when it is clean.
