Radical solution to wiper problem

Post by Roc'n'roll »

I've been forced, unfortunately, to find a radical solution to the dreaded wiper smear problem. The other night some low life scum bag took a fancy to my driver's side wiper arm and snapped the thing off close to the pin :gnash: . After paying £60 to the fools at Macclesfield VW (they ordered the rear wiper arm on their first attempt) my smear problem has gone away. Simple.

Are you saying that a rear wiper arm solves the problem ?

I think, ZephyR, the solution being mentioned requires a complete removal of said wiper and then not much else. Can't have a smear without a wiper.

No ! On re-reading the post the secret appears to involve paying out 60 quid to Macclesfield VW.

Clearly 'Roc'n'roll' means he was forced to pay for a new driver's side wiper arm, as his was broken off. VW mistakenly ordered a rear wiper arm, but of course this was not fitted to the front!!
