Hi Guys,
Having enjoyed the heated seats over winter, yesterday I decided to turn the switch back to the OFF position but was shocked to find out that the seat stayed hot and now can't be turned off.
My back and bottom gets very hot every time I drive out now.
Can anyone please tell me what could be wrong and if anyone has had this problem before.
Thanks.

Re: Heated seat & control malfunction
Does the indicator change from 3 yellow LED's to two then one as you keep pressing, or does it stay the same?
Actually when I think about it, mine resets to off when I turn off the ignition. Might be the relay stuck in a closed position

Re: Heated seat & control malfunction
The control is shaped like a wheel knob with numbers 0-5 and does not have an LED.
I'm tempted to think that it's the control knob that is faulty but I may be wrong.
Thanks

Might be worth getting a VCDS scan done, would help to highlight if its an electrical fault

There are plenty of lads on the forum who will scan it for beer tokens rather than paying the £70 diagnostic fee VW charge! Check the users list on here to find somebody local to you!
